Happy move-in week!
Our highlight this week is Wheatsfield’s Tiny Deck Concert. As summer comes to a close, the summer music events are winding down. There are still a couple Tiny Decks left, but this week’s concert features Coffee Shop Romance, a husband and wife duo who are also teachers. School begins next week!
Also this week, dive into Gilbert’s history, Society of Broken Souls closes the Goldfinch Room’s season, June Bugs sing at Roosevelt, emo makes a comeback at Mary Jane’s, city staff visit Tahira & Labh Hira Park and Point Break turns 35.

Coffee Shop Romance features husband and wife duo James and Lisa Webb, both members of “Stranger than Fiction,” the wildly popular cover band made up of local English teachers. Coffee Shop Romance is a scaled-down collaboration featuring melodic songs, guitar, and clean vocals for your cozy listening pleasure.
