Our featured event this week is a block party at the Bandshell on Friday. This weekend’s Cy-Hawk game isn’t in Ames, but the marching band and wind ensemble join forces to spread some school spirit. They also bring activities for the whole family to enjoy.
Also this week, MacKay Hall has art, Emily Wilson brings the funny, Christian Petersen is profiled, Lego bricks need assembling, Ames Town & Gown brings the brass and learn what happens when manure meets soil.
