Happy first day of fall!
There are just over three weeks until the Voice’s anniversary celebration. We hope you can attend, and here is the RSVP form. It’s at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15.
Our highlight this week is the inaugural Ames Documentary Film Festival. This celebration of nonfiction moviemaking will present 11 short films, including some made my local filmmakers.
Also this week, artists of all kinds bring their best to the Octagon Art Festival, horror rock comes to Mary Jane’s, author Ryan T. Pozzi stops by the library, Mango Soul closes the Railyard’s season, the organist of Iowa visits and Ames staff make a final connection.
