Building What Comes Next for Ames — A Note from Our Executive Director
 | Greetings friends and neighbors, As the Executive Director of the Ames Voice, I want to reach out personally and share how honored I feel to step into this role at such a pivotal moment for our community. The Ames Voice was created because people here believed this city deserved a newsroom that listens first, reports with care and reflects the voices of the people who call Ames home. In the few weeks since I’ve stepped into this role, I’ve seen that belief reflected everywhere — in interactions with residents, in conversations with our Founding Voices and in the dedication of our volunteer reporters. They care deeply about this community and about trustworthy journalism. |
It’s clear to me that the Ames Voice isn’t just a newsroom. It’s a community project. A shared effort. A hopeful idea that’s becoming a reality.
