Ames Voice - Calendar of Events

Tuesday, January 27, 2026

Good day and welcome to our second calendar newsletter!

When this arrives in your inbox next Tuesday, it’ll have a proper title, but for this final week, it’s “Calendar of Events.” Therefore, our call for name suggestions continues. We’ve received nearly 20 so far. If you have an idea for one, email us at [email protected].

If you have a local event you want to make sure gets included in a future edition of this Yet-to-be-Properly-Named calendar newsletter, you should also use [email protected]. (And the same goes for any person or organization out there with a press release.)

And now on to the upcoming week’s happenings, including an author event, a family comedy at ACTORS, a closer look at lichen and remembering Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
