While we depend on financial support to keep our operations running — having raised more than $105,000 in the last year — getting the word out about the Ames Voice is just as essential as a donation.

The Ames Voice was created to fill the gap left by traditional newspapers' reduced coverage. We are dedicated to providing paywall-free coverage and follow an NPR-like model with no paywalls, no barriers. To fulfill our mission as the primary source of news for the Ames area, we need as many people as possible to sign up and read the Voice.
